Louisiana oversize and overweight permits are issued by the Louisiana Truck Permit Center, Department of Transportation and Development.
Permit approval depends on the proposed route, vehicle configuration, dimensions, axle weights and infrastructure conditions such as interstate restrictions, bridge capacity and local escort requirements.
